Climbing must be wild!

Wilderness is not just a place – it is a feeling, a state of being, deeply rooted within us, hidden beneath the veils of civilization. In the quiet moments, when the wind whispers through the trees and the sunset sets the rocks ablaze, we can still feel it. It calls to us, calls us back to the roots of our existence, back to a time when we lived in harmony with nature, the wind, and the stars. It calls us to be wild – in our purest, most primal form.

But the world has changed, and most of us are far removed from that wildness. We've lost ourselves within city walls, in the constraints of daily life, within the confines of comfort. But deep inside us, in the secrets of our DNA, lives the call for freedom. The call to feel nature, to challenge our bodies, to awaken our own strength. The call to be wild—like the first humans, like the Miwak Indians, who lived in harmony with nature, as a part of it and not just as spectators.

Climbing offers us the opportunity to connect with wilderness, not as strangers, but as guardians. Every wall, every rock is an adventure, a call from nature challenging us to push our limits, find our inner balance, and feel more of the wilderness with every hold and foothold.

In the vertical realm, where the ground seems to vanish beneath us, we experience the pure feeling of freedom. The wall becomes a living organism, challenging us, uniting us with the wilderness. Every step, every handhold, every upward climb – they are like the movements of a Native American, moving in harmony with nature, not against it. The rock is not merely an obstacle, but a teacher. Nature, in its untamed beauty, becomes a partner, showing us how to live in harmony with ourselves, with our friends, and with the world around us.

In those moments, when we touch the first handles with our fingers, we know: We are not just part of the wilderness – we are its guardians.
